1 | Make these selections based on the content areas in which you desire greater familiarity (e.g., Africology and African American Studies in culture, literature, social issues, psychology, etc.). One of these two upper-level courses may be a related course outside the Africology and African American Studies department; however, students must seek written approval from the undergraduate director prior to enrolling in outside courses that they want to apply toward the Africology and African American Studies minor. |
Minors are awarded only at the time of completion of the bachelor's degree and cannot be awarded either as a stand-alone program of study or after completion of the first bachelor's degree.
