Overview
The Minor in French is offered by the Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures. Students declaring a major or minor in the department are encouraged to study abroad. Temple University has a summer program at the Sorbonne in Paris. Credits earned through the Temple Sorbonne Program may be used toward the French major, minor, certificate and for satisfaction of the GenEd World Society requirement.
Minors are awarded only at the time of completion of the bachelor's degree and cannot be awarded either as a stand-alone program of study or after completion of the first bachelor's degree.
