Certificate in Emergency and Sports Injury Management
Learn more about the undergraduate certificate in Emergency and Sports Injury Management.
The Emergency and Sports Injury Management (ESIM) certificate will include not only the training required to sit for the National Registry EMT certification exam but more in-depth training in assessment and pre-hospital management of sports injuries. Students will have the opportunity to develop skills in extracting and immobilizing simulated patients from challenging scenarios (gymnastics foam pit, ice hockey rink, etc.).

Requirements
The Certificate in Emergency and Sports Injury Management will be awarded to students who complete the following requirements:
