Overview
The Minor in Music, offered by the Department of Music Studies, is a 20-credit hour program for undergraduate students who are not music majors, but wish to enjoy music in the Boyer College of Music and Dance as part of their Temple experience. Students complete 5 credits in music theory for non-majors and then may select from an array of courses in music theory, music history, jazz, technology, private lessons or performance ensembles. At least 15 of the credits taken by a student to fulfill the minor must be taken in the Boyer College.
