About the Certificate

The Healthcare Management (HCM) Program, in the Department of Risk, Actuarial Science and Legal Studies, offers an MHA, MBA Concentration in Healthcare Management, and a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management to help prepare future healthcare leaders.

Designed for working professionals, the graduate certificate in Healthcare Management provides students the opportunities to 

• Earn a credit-based academic credential.
• Gain specialized healthcare knowledge and skills.
• Upgrade their current knowledge and skills.
• Advance their careers.
• “Test the waters” before committing to a full graduate degree.
• Earn credits they can apply to the MBA or MHA program at Fox.
• Differentiate themselves from competitors.
• Network with healthcare professionals.

Students who undertake the certificate have the option to transfer credits earned into the MBA Concentration in Healthcare Management or the Masters of Health Administration.

Full-Time/Part-Time Status: The graduate certificate can be completed on a part-time basis. NOTE: International students may not be eligible to apply for a student visa based on admission to the certificate program. Please contact the Fox School's admissions advisor for more information.

Bachelor's Degree: The equivalent of a four-year U.S. baccalaureate degree from an accredited university or college is required. For three-year degrees, an evaluation of mark sheets may be required by WES or another NACES organization. Applicants who earned their baccalaureate degree from an institution where the language of instruction was other than English, with the exception of those who subsequently earned a master’s degree in a country where the language of instruction is English, must report scores for a standardized test of English.
