Home to 15 departments, the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) offers students a small liberal arts college experience within a premier research university setting. The College and its departments are at the forefront of research within their various fields.
CLA is home to more than 5,000 students, both graduate and undergraduate, who learn in seminar-style classes, conduct research with award-winning faculty, and gain real-world experience in the field. Our graduates build the essential skills valued in the workplace: critical reading, careful thinking and effective communicating.
