Certificate in Creative Entrepreneurship
The Certificate in Creative Entrepreneurship will aid students interested in art to acquire the requisite skills to support themselves as visual artists or entrepreneurs in art or related fields. This certificate is a collaboration between the Tyler School of Art and the Fox School of Business and Management. The certificate is an attractive option for those who seek entrepreneurship skills with which to support their creative practice but do not wish to pursue a graduate degree.
The certificate requires 12 credits: 9 credits of Fox Entrepreneurship coursework and a 3-credit Tyler entrepreneurship, business practices or internship course.
The certificate is available for alumni, continuing ed/non-matriculating students, and students in other Tyler and non-Tyler degree programs (with the exception of the new B.F.A. in Studio with Entrepreneurship degree programs).
This credit certificate may be conferred upon a student by recommendation of the faculty and upon satisfactory completion of the required credits with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
