Coursework in the Adult and Organizational Development program provides students with the communication skills and analytical abilities to: design adult training programs, conduct organizational interventions, develop change management processes, conduct effective team development programs, facilitate group decision-making, manage interpersonal conflict, and design dispute resolution systems. These skills support adults in reaching professional goals in a diverse range of settings including for-profit and non-profit organizations, educational institutions, governmental agencies, and community organizations. Graduates of the program are prepared to enter adult education professions as trainers, performance assessment specialists, managers, group and organizational consultants, mediators, negotiators, and learning and development specialists.
