ANES M410. Anesthesiology. 0 Credit Hours.
This clinical elective teaches students techniques and considerations for anesthetic management in different disease states both in the operating room and in sites around the hospital. Students develop skills related to airway and hemodynamic management. They participate in specialized areas such as cardiac anesthesia, obstetrical anesthesia, neuro-anesthesia, and acute pain management to experience the breath and depth of the specialty.

ANES M415. Chronic Pain Management. 0 Credit Hours.
In this clinical elective in Anesthesia, students will rotate through the outpatient clinic and interventional procedure unit. They will participate in common and esoteric chronic pain diagnoses. Students will learn to perform a pain-focused history and physical, create a differential diagnosis list, and formulate appropriate treatment plans, including interventional and non-interventional strategies. They will observe and participate in interventional pain procedures.

ANES M425. Advanced Anesthesia. 0 Credit Hours.
This clinical elective is for students who have completed the Anesthesiology elective. Students will be involved with airway management and intra-operative anesthetic management. Students spend time with specialized teams including the critical care team, the acute pain team, sub-specialty operative suites, and obstetrics.
