Minor in Public Health
The Public Health minor reflects the diversity within the field of Public Health. Each required course prepares students to understand the core principles and issues related to Public Health practice. The elective course allows students to individualize the minor to best fit their interests and pre-professional preparation.
An overall GPA of 2.0 or permission from the Public Health Chair is required to apply for this minor. Students pursuing the minor in Public Health should consult with an advisor in the school or college in which they are pursuing their degree and with the Public Health Undergraduate Advisor. A minimum grade of "C" is required for each course and an overall 2.5 GPA is required for the courses taken in the minor. Additionally, no more than two (2) courses may be taken prior to declaring the Public Health minor.
